Mission Statement
Overview Map
The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), with the University of Delaware Sea Grant Program serving as convening body, will form and facilitate a Tributary Action Team (Team) for the Broadkill River Watershed. This Team will recommend a Pollution Control Strategy (PCS) to DNREC in order to meet the Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). See Draft Broadkill River Watershed TMDL Regulation.

This Pollution Control Strategy will include ways in which the nonpoint source nutrient and bacteria loadings can be reduced throughout the watershed. In order to draft this PCS, Team members will engage the public in a dialogue about the concerns related to nonpoint source pollution control through public forums, educational workshops and other outreach activities
